However, when seen at a different time of the day to normal, in a contrasting light and shade or from a new aspect altogether there can be very surprising consequences.

The new pedestrian swing bridge over the River Hull provides a new experience and viewpoint along the old river corridor. Combined with a bright December twilight sky, first phase of a crescent moon and the illumination of street lights and from traffic the whole scene is amazingly beautiful.
